| POSITION FULFILLED: Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research: R&D POSITION IN MOTORCYCLIST SAFETY (ESR 12) | ||
| September 1st, 2009
Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research, TNO is looking for one Early Stage Researcher to work on finite element modelling of the human body, specifically with muscle behaviour, for the purpose of the improvement of motorcyclist safety. The ESR will implement human head-neck dynamic behaviour in a widespread Finite Element code, most likely LS-DYNA. This will involve the integration of nowledge available within TNO and other partners on multi-body human modelling, Finite Element human and muscle modelling and muscle activation control into a Finite Element code. The resulting model will be used in the MYMOSA network to evaluate measures to improve motorcycle safety through computational methods. These activities are expected to run for 9 to 12 months, but the possibility of a longer period will be discussed during recruitment... |
